The Making of an Illustration

In the video on the left you can see the making of one of my illustrations. I recorded my desktop during the creation of a scene where a cowboy enters a saloon. The original rendering process took me about 5 hours, and it’s sped up here to about 15 minutes.

  1. Zo hey Jelle!

Wow, great works that you have done.
    Very clean and professional.
I’m still puzzled at how you imported those textures onto the scene/or layers?
I’ve been looking all over for tutorials on it but can’t find anything.
Would anyone care to provide insight on it? I’d be delighted! :]

    Thanks

Is all of this done in CS4? I’m using cs3 at the moment and I dont think a lot of those features are on cs3, very nice job on the cowboy love your work.

  13. Your work is very good! I like the magnificent colors you use. You did a great job on your characters, but i didn’t see how you switched from Photoshop to Illustrator other than just using paths in PS. Do you by chance paint with Illustrator?
